We currently have a need for an Inside Sales Representative to support a team of Account Managers in the on-going development of prospective and existing customers in order to ensure the sales team meets their revenue goals. This is a great opportunity to join a team of professionals that are challenged and passionate about delivering quality product solutions and support to our customers. These solutions are based around Cisco hardware and software.

 

This position will be based in our Paramus, NJ location or in our Tampa, Florida office and reports to the Director of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotes for products and/or services as required by clients or internal contacts.
  • Work closely with Account Managers, Project Mangers, Vendors and colleagues to achieve results.
  • Make all necessary adds/moves/changes to existing quotes for products and/or services.
  • Follow-up with clients as necessary for all quotes.
  • Process all client orders, follow up with clients and provide all necessary post- sales support.
  • Maintain primary point of contact for all ongoing customer requirements.
  • Participate in client meetings and internal team meetings as required.
  • Assist customers with any required concerns, escalations, etc.
  • Handle all client requests related to their interaction with Pangaia Partners. Research product information and availability
  • Contact customers identified by Account/Territory Manager; in support of Sales/Marketing Activities
  • Prepare and manage the generation of quotations within Corporate Quoting Tool for identified opportunities
  • Remains up to date on all promotions and vendor pricing programs (i.e., State/other Contracts, Rebates and Vendor Registration programs).
  • Attends weekly inside sales training and participates in sales education conference calls.
  • Participates in the Technology and Vertical Specialization Program (as defined).
  • Maintains working knowledge of vendor products to obtain quarterly sales certifications as required by manufacturers.
  • Participate in marketing programs and cold calling

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical discipline
  • 2 years’ experience in a Cisco product sales or solutions environment. Cisco certifications are a plus.
  • Local and wide area networking industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrable results supporting Sales teams and Customers in a highly technical environment.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to build working relationships with customers
  • Ability to understand customer’s business objectives and sell our solutions and services.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex solutions and benefits simply.
  • Demonstrate a thirst for knowledge and motivation for on-going learning in Pangaia Partners’ areas of expertise.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures.
  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware and software to include, Microsoft software applications and online sales and quoting tools.
  • Knowledge of basic sales and marketing techniques and principles.
  • Strong customer service skills with a continuous service orientation focus.
  • Operative active learning skills to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Able to be self-motivated with initiative to work until job is complete.
  • Solid MS Office skills
