We currently have a need for a Senior Network Engineer with 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in a Global Network environment.  Global Financial Services, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred. 

Responsibilities:

• Global Maintenance of device configuration as per certified standards and Engineering recommendations
• Create, administer, and execute changes in mass-scale device quantity
• Act as team representative for weekly change management review meetings
• Provide coordination and act as a team interface between Network Operations and the Engineering, Deployment, and Security teams
• Conduct network audits and risk assessment as required and remediate if necessary
• Review posted documentation to ensure network is in adherence to and compliant of any mandates
• Create, debug, and maintain scripts in Perl, Python or Jython to optimize work flow
• Facilitate and coordinate work with external vendors for areas that are not under current management
• Participate in design and peer reviews
• Adapt and transform operational and/or functional needs into solutions

• Scripting experience required either in Perl, Python or Jython
• 7+ years’ experience with enterprise-level network design and deployment
• Proficient with the design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring of core routing and switching, LAN/WAN/ MAN services
• Proficient in routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, MPLS-TP
• Solid experience in designing and supporting IP networks for voice, data and video in a Service Provider environment using SIP, MGCP, RTP, Multicasting, and Unicasting
• Experience with Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K, 2K configuration and design.  2 years’ experience with ASR’s
• Through understanding of IP concepts including routing, VLAN's, QoS, tuning and capacity management concepts
• Ability to analyze and design network systems to achieve efficient and secure operation
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, including packet-level traffic analysis
• Current Cisco data networking certifications i.e. CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE strongly preferred.
• Experience working in large enterprise networks is desired. The ability to work under pressure and interface with senior management will be key to these roles.
